Hello lovely readers, it's nearly the season to rewind and reflect on the year passed, celebrate family and toast the beginning of something new as 2017 brings with it opportunities for renewal, resolutions and rediscovery.
As we turn our minds to the holidays, don't forget that weekends are also the perfect chance to have a mini-vacation. We asked around the studio and here are our top tips to relax and recharge without feeling exhausted on Monday:
1. Stop working! Make a conscious, guilt-free decision to leave work behind on Friday afternoon and start the transformation from the 'work you' to the life loving, adventure seeking you.
2. Carve out at least 1 - 2 hours to be entirely selfish and self-indulgent. It may feel like you're not making the most of your time off if you're not making plans but trust us, it's incredibly satisfying when you don't have to be anywhere or be accountable to anyone.
3. Fight the 'Sunday blues'. Friday felt amazing, Saturday was jam-packed and Sunday is all you've got left before Monday morning hits. We know that feeling. But don't waste an entire day of your life every weekend dreading the work week ahead! Know that this day is still yours and allow your Sundays to be enriching by doing something that you love.
